Job description Plant Operator
We are seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of equipment in a manufacturing or industrial plant. The Plant Operator will ensure that equipment operates safely, efficiently, and effectively to meet production targets and quality standards.
Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor plant equipment, including pumps, valves, compressors, boilers, and turbines, to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection, on plant equipment.

Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and systems and take corrective action as needed.

Monitor production processes and adjust equipment as necessary to maintain product quality and production targets.

Ensure that equipment operates within safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.

Document equipment performance and maintenance activities in logs and reports.

Work with maintenance personnel to schedule and perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Participate in safety and environmental training programs and comply with all safety and environmental regulations and guidelines.

Assist with other tasks as needed to support plant operations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Good English skills

2+ years of experience operating and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing or industrial plant.

Knowledge of plant equipment and systems, including pumps, valves, compressors, boilers, and turbines.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Basic computer skills to operate and maintain automated control systems.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet production targets.

Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces.
