Job description IT Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our team in Germany. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, networks, and applications. Your expertise in programming, experience in SAP Navision or similar platforms, and network management skills will be essential in supporting our business operations and driving our technological advancements. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in electrical engineering

Responsibilities:

  1. Programming and Development:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain software applications, ensuring their efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using programming languages such as [mention relevant programming languages].

    • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and other technical problems.

  3. Network Management:

    • Manage and maintain our company's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

    • Monitor network activity, identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate security measures.

    • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

    • Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve network-related issues.

  4. System Administration and Support:

    • Administer servers, databases, and operating systems to ensure their availability, performance, and security.

    • Monitor system health, conduct regular backups, and implement disaster recovery plans.

    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related incidents.

    • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and licenses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar role.
